My 2nd Everyday Minerals
free sample kit and stuff order arrived some time ago, but real life got in the way of my posting a review of this lot.
They have definitely been getting a lot of use though. And what I am loving to bits is that I have been wearing the foundation everyday
without any breakouts or blemishes. That is something I've never been able to do with my favorite foundation brands Bobbi Brown and Shu Uemura.
This time round, the sample kit contained:
Thus far, the matte foundation formulation has given great mileage all day with my oily skin, but we'll see how the intensive matches up over the next couple of days. And the beige shades are a better match to my skintone as well.
I also included a baby kabuki brush
and man, they weren't kidding when they said it was a baby. The bristles are wonderfuly soft though and is quite compact to buff in the minerals into the skin.
And because I was going for a bit of a sample binge, I went WTH and bought 2 more blush samples: Champagne
and Wet Sand
. Both are from their lucent line, which has the tiniest bit of twinkle in them, so they really look amazing as highlighters. I used a touch of Wet Sand with some homemade mixing medium (glycerine + water) as an eyeshadow today and it was gorgeous to work with, lasting all day.
