Riverfire Festival 2008
31st-Aug-2008 11:00 am

It's been too many years since I went to a Riverfire festival.
And thankfully the weather has been warming up quite nicely,
so standing on the river bank to wait for the action wasn't too uncomfortable.

And surprisingly, a friend and her fiancee happened to notice us in the crowd
and we watched the fireworks together.

The masses waiting on the Victoria Bridge for the start of Riverfire

And while you're waiting,
allow the airshow overhead amaze and astound you
with their aerial acrobatics.

And as the sun goes down, let the show begin!

And with an almighty brilliant burst, a star is born.

The fallen are as beautiful as those blessed in grace.

Yah! But I was facing the river and just gotten a haircut, so I would've looked different from behind. I was surprised she recognised him, cuz she would've only seen the photos I put up as a hodge-podge collage on our kitchen wall.

I barely spoke to him (too busy clucking away with Lilian), so I can't say I clicked with him, you know what I mean? I think our camera gear was also a little intimidating. XD
