The SO's mum proclaimed that she would take me out to lunch during the week to celebrate my birthday. Belated, but apparently a week is a tonne better than her record breaking belated
months. (0_o)
And we dropped by Target on the way to grab some uggies for me. The weather is really getting to my feet and the SO has been bitching whenever I use his thighs as a warm rug to wriggle my toes on. Wuss. Heh... ♪
Anyway, they're made of real sheep. Yes,
SHEEEEEEEEEEP... and they didn't have my size in pink. Oh well, the world is safe from my silliness for now.
While we went off to find the SO's sister and walked through Myer. And there was Carson Kressley from Queer Eye for a Straight Guy! In a white cream suit and pink shirt! On stage! Less than 20 metres away! Holy crap! I was too starstruck to whip out my camera (plus my 50mm lens would've captured squat all).
Then it was time for lunch at Madtongsan. Although I used to work in the eatery right next door, I had never gone in the Korean restaurant for a meal and I really regret it. Their food is yummilicious!

The SO and I have a soft spot for Bibumbup.
It's one of those dishes that you cant go wrong
and it delivers a warmth from the hot stone bowl to your eager empty tummy.
Did I also mention it's gotta be pretty healthy with all them veggies? *nods sagely*
The SO's sister opted for something lighter and non-spicy.
This came with a bowl of rice.
The MIL (mother-in-law) ordered this and it arrived boiling like a jaccuzi.
The portion of seafood was decent.
But it's not something to have when your break is limited to an hour.
Just waiting for it to cool enough to eat takes that long.Madtongsan Restaurant

And yes, the food was da bomb! My world revolves around food now, apparently. (>_<)
Carson was so cute! And his skin was glowing! I swear he looks more pretty in person.
Want pics ;___;
He's going to be on Big Brother this week though. (¬_¬)
