Thank you!

It's been a crazy 2 week Christmas/New Year break and there's so much to write about. It'll take some time to collect thoughts, photos and videos into more coherent expressions for prosterity, but it doesn't take any time to say this:

bankevair, you get the biggest warmest thank-you for putting us up the last 2 weeks.
You are one of the most generous souls and we really enjoyed our time in Melbourne. Well, I did... not sure if the SO did due to work commitments. I bet you couldn't wait to get rid of us by the end of it. (^_-)-☆

clamwings and family, for sharing the holiday spirit, the real Christmas tree and decorations, and chocolate cake
And yes, I will give them succulents lots of loving! Please thank your mum for me for them.
Watch out for the upcoming videos from sefieslj's NYE party

sefieslj and hubby, for letting us crash your NYE party. It was really fun and sorry for the mess we must've left in your kitchen. (^__^;)

edaburi, for driving during our winery crawl.
Without you, we wouldn't have walked away with so much yummy alcohol to savour the next couple of months (hopefully)

Yering Station @ Yarra Valley

So much can be found about Victoria's first vineyard, Yering Station, located in the 'heart' of the Yarra Valley only one hour drive from Melbourne.

The grounds it spreads over and the restaurant overlooks is gorgeous, even with the blinding sunshine and browned flats. It suits the restaurant's minimalistic white interior, but it is the food that takes centrestage - brilliantly presented on simple white crockery and brilliantly cooked to perfection.

Totally worth the drive down, which we had edaburi to thank for.
