BPAL review 20: Delirium, Bewitched, Fire of Love and Follow Me Boy

BPAL review 20: Delirium, Bewitched, Fire of Love and Follow Me Boy

Name: Delirium
Collection: Bewitching Brews
Description: Non compos mentis, indeed! A contrary, conflicted scent, bubbling with merry madness. Contains apple, rose, and lemon.
In the Imp (wet): Rich, wet, juicy and totally getting an almost toffee apple and musky rose primary note
On me: This really is a gorgeous, though mad scent. The rich wetness dies down and the citrus omes through, bringing along a much crisper sweet apple and a mellowed out rose. I definitely amp the rose note. This one had me smiling in confusion while I was wearing it at work and caught a whiff of it.

Name: Bewitched
Collection: Bewitched Brews
Description: Deep, luscious green and berry scents that evoke images of woodland witchcraft and the raw power of nature: blackberry, sage, green tea, wild berries and dark musk.
In the Imp (wet): Sharp & crisp. Cuts at your face.
On me:Sweet green tea and some very juicy sweet berry dessert, dressed in balsamic vinegar. Mossy plains with clear sunlight filtering through.

Name: Fire of Love
Collection: Bewitching Brews
Description: A catalytic, potent love oil used to spark (or rekindle) the flame of desire between lovers.
In the Imp (wet): The first mental picture I see with my first whiff is the warm glowing embers of a fireplace. This isn't the fiery blazing fire of love. It's much for cozy, deep warmth from being with someone who have a deep connection with. I'm quite pleased it doesn't have the astingency that many spicier oils have.
On me: I seem to catch a sharp wood, like cedar... which I'm still alright with, but the deep warmth hasn't lingered, which is a shame. There's also a hint of mint, which I wasn't expecting. I much more enjoyed the deep warmth from the wet stage.

Name: Follow Me Boy
Collection: Bewitching Brews
Description: This blend is favored by prostitutes, exotic dancers and others in the sex industry for its power to attract, seduce, and enthrall. Ensures financial gain and increased profits.
In the Imp (wet): Sweet musk, like honey. And there's an undernote of a thick heavy floral: jasmine, I think.
On me: Warm and musky. 100% woman. I'm amping the jasmine for the first 10 minutes, but the drydown has a come-hither sultriness I am enjoying. Not a scent for work.
