Who knew a cow could double up
as a very comfortable warm and soft day bed
after an exhausting day of judging and demonstrations
to all us city cousins?

After a number of close encounters of the bovine kind,
cows have replaced canines as the ultimate drool machine in my mind.
But this one was just moist.
Mmmm... moist.

And what's a country fair without some dyed chickens?

And of course, pink.
Wonder if they hatched from pastel shaded Easter eggs. (^_~)

What's the easiest and suriest way to wake up a sleeping cat behind a glass door,
without touching anything?

.
.
.

Blow into the door gap.
The smell of your lunch (or plaque) is sure to shock the feline awake.

Chinese Sharpei is wrinkly much?
I was tempted to pinch the folds of fur.

Of all the wrinkly dogs I think the Sharpei is the cutest <3

Dyed chickens are kinda cool and kinda scary lol! Perfect for Easter indeed!

They are, but I'm always too tempted to pinch their folds and flap them. It's contagious, I tell you!

I keep wondering how they do it: hang them by the legs to dip them in a vat of colour? Feed them so much food colouring, it comes through in their feathers? Spray paint them?

Actually I thought that was the whole point of their wrinkles! =O It's supposed to be velvety and therapeutic playing with their folds! (I learnt that from Tensai Shimura Dobutsuen HAHA OTL)

Give them a bath in super diluted food coloring? lol

Depends on who you speak to. The wrinkles were supposedly a feature originally bred for fighting. There was a show recently, which showed this sharpei who needed surgery to remove the folds around its eyes, cuz it was blinding it.
