Guess what I spotted while we were driving through the Dandenongs?
After a crazy buffet lunch at the Cuckoo restaurant (more on that later), I was doozing in the car as the SO and bankevair
drove around hunting for pretty parks and wineries in the area. However for some reason, I woke up during a particular stretch of road and looked out the window to notice some lumbering movement by the side of the road.
This is the monologue of my brain: dog... no, too small... cat... no, too squat... funny colour... wait... what's that Australian animal?
Kudos to bankevair for not driving us off the road from my exclamation,
and safely backing up and parking the car,
so we could hop down and check out this creature in its native habitat.
And it stuffed its face into the ground everytime it sensed we were coming too close.
It's so cute! (^___^)
Now to find a wild wombat!
